TREE Program Purpose
Enhance and expand comprehensive treatment, early intervention, and recovery support services for adolescents and transitional aged youth with substance use disorders (SUD) and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders (COD), and their families/primary caregivers.
Focus on high school students, grades 9-12 and their families/primary caregivers in Bexar County.
Key Objectives

- Provide education and messaging on making healthy choices that include no use of any substances.
- Deliver evidence-based prevention curricula
- Conduct recovery workshops serving youth and their families
- Establish a peer recovery support group
- Provide individual and family case management services to students with identified SUD and their families.
