DWI Intervention (Multiple Offenses)

This State certified program is designed for multiple DWI offenders and/or others who have alcohol/drug related problems for which the first offender program was not designed to address. The purpose is to take specific actions to prevent future DWI Situations and address non-DWI alcohol problems.

This program will increase their knowledge about alcohol and drugs as these substances relate to driving skills, to identify their own individual drinking/drug use and driving patterns, and to assist them in developing plans which will reduce the probability of future DWI behavior.

Do I need the Victim Impact Panel (VIP) Video Version?

A Victim Impact Panel is a panel of individuals who have been affected by the actions of a drunk driver. The overall goal of the Victim Impact Panel is to help convey the impact an intoxicated driver. Our version is hosted by our DWI Instructor and complemented with an education video and discussion.

What is a SASSI?

The SASSI stands for Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory and is a questionnaire that helps to identify if a person has a high probability or low probability of having a substance use disorder. This questionnaire is completed online and a report is reviewed by our Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and ready in 1-2 business days.
