Are you considering a career as a professional peer specialist? SACADA offers state approved training designed to build the knowledge and practical skills needed to support individuals in recovery and behavioral health settings. Training is offered for both Recovery Support Specialists (RSPS) and Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS).
Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS)
- Cost: $400
- 46-hour course- over the span of 5 days (including 6 hour assignment)
- State approved designation/certification required after training
Core Training
- Cost: $50
- Length: 24 hour course- over the span of 3 days
- Must be completed prior to RSPS or MHPS specialty training
