Marketing Specialist
Full-time, Non-Exempt
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and tracking of SACADA’s marketing strategies, and messaging. The position will require the individuals to lead the implementation of the Marketing Plan approved by Board Marketing Committee.
Mental Health Education Coordinator
Full-time, Non-Exempt
The Mental Health Education Coordinator is responsible in providing the day-to-day oversight of the SACADA Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) Project logistics including community outreach and education, coordination of partnerships, and implementing and scheduling of trainings. Working with community partners, the coordinator will ensure Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid are conducted with school personnel, emergency first responders, law enforcement and other community member who can provide referrals to health services. The geographic area where project will be implemented is the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Region 8, which consist of 28 counties.
Case Manager (Male)
Full-time, Non-exempt
The Male Case Manager is responsible for providing community-based intervention outreach services and evidence-based education to men who are of childbearing age to decrease the impact of substance use. The Case Manager will work directly with fathers, who are Texas residents in region 8, with the youngest child up to six year old; or expected fathers who have one or more risk factors for a substance use disorder as identified in the Parenting Awareness and Drug Risk Education (PADRES) Screening. The Case Manager will work with Child Protective Services, treatment centers and other community-based organizations in Bexar and 27 surrounding counties to deliver intervention outreach services.
Wellness Coach
Full-time
The Wellness Coach is responsible for supporting the wellness goals of patients impacted by chemical dependency and symptoms of withdrawal as identified by a healthcare practitioner. The Wellness Coach will work in partnership with a healthcare clinic to serve the target population.
Recovery Coach
Full-time, Part-time, Non-exempt
The Peer Recovery Coach is responsible for the engagement and linking of individuals prior to, during and after treatment and providing recovery support services to reduce the incidence of relapse.
Behavioral Health Specialist
Full-time, Temporary
The Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for the facilitation of projects that change physical environment, build community resilience, or improve systemic processes to enhance behavioral health and wellness to communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The project’s main goal is to enhance behavioral health and community resilience. This project will address adverse childhood experiences, social determinants of health, and/or other youth, family and community risk and protective factors. The service area includes one of the following Counties: Atascosa, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, or Wilson. This project is a grant funded temporary position for 18 months beginning 9/1/21 and will have a team of five staff to work in conjunction with existing Community Coalition Partnership (CCP) staff.
Recovery Support Peer Specialist
Full-time, Part-time, Non-exempt
The RSPS is responsible for the engagement and linking of individuals prior to, during and after treatment and providing recovery support services to reduce the incidence of relapse.
