The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31 each year.
Red Ribbon Week reaches over 80 million people each year. This year’s theme is to amplify the campaign’s mission to encourage children, families, and communities to live healthy, happy and drug-free lives.
This year’s theme is “Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug Free. ™” Submitted by Danielle Helm, a Youth Service Coordinator from Russell County Middle School in Russell Springs, Kentucky. This year’s theme is a reminder that everyday Americans across the country make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free!
