Alcohol and Drug Awareness Education Program (ADAEP)

*** Attention – Due to the COV-19 Pandemic, the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness has moved its weekly Alcohol and Drug Awareness Education Program (ADAEP) to an online classroom via Zoom. After you have made payment, you will be notified by SACADA via email with instructions on how to logon to the virtual classroom for the months of April and May. The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Education Program (ADAEP) is a Life Skills Drug Intervention Educational Program for those needing to change alcohol and drug abusive behaviors. ADAEP is an Educational Program for adults (age 18 or older). ADAEP is open-ended, so individuals may enter the program at any point during the cycle.

ADAEP consists of 10, 2-hour sessions, for a total of 20 hours of education. Each session has two parts: the first addresses alcohol and drug-related risks; the second provides tools to live a successful and drug-free life.

  • Assistance Programs
  • Probation, Parole or Federal Pre-Trial
  • Attorneys and Judges
  • Child Protective Services
  • Family or Self Referred

Prior to beginning the program, participants must schedule a brief interview, Registration & Orientation session with the ADAEP Instructor.

  • Registration fee is $20, due at time of registration
  • There is a $15 fee for each two-hour class
  • The total cost of the program is $170

Participant must be paid in full to receive Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.

All payments for classes are final. SACADA does not issue refunds for classes. No exceptions.
